A Surly Bender (American Brown Ale) Clone from Northern Brewer that I oaked and soured with Brett L for 9 months. Was an experiment that yielded a great easy to drink beer with a lot of funky flavors. Would do it again but maybe tone down the oak.

Making wine for the first time today using Cellar Craft California Pinot Noir kit. It comes with a dry yeast which I'm sure is fine but am wondering if it's worth using a White Labs or Wyeast yeast instead, any recommendations/advice?

The home kegerator is pretty sweet. I have a 6 tap system in my office (home) spin my chair around and there it is, begging for some attention. I did have a wife before I started home brewing as well, not sure where she went or when she left.

I have the rear-sealing faucets and they get stuck after a few days, left even longer and they get jammed up pretty good. They came with the tower I got on CL and haven't replaced them yet but my annoyance level is currently floating around 7/10 after I spent a good part of Sunday cleaning out...

After thought... After you bottle and age it if you find there isn't enough carbonation you could try adding dry ice to the bottles. It's not without its risks; bottle bombs, infection etc but there aren't many options at that point anyway. Buy some dry ice from the supermarket and break it up...
