Anyone try this beer? My new favorite IPA! Its low on the radar now but it will become better then rpm or hop venom imo. I know its very hard getting information on Boneyard recipes but this one is a must try.:mug:

I think 100million is just trying to help. According to beersmith 7.9 looks about right for rpm. I think I messed up on to much black patent. I think his sources from the video, maybe a call or email plus the rpm kit itself are pretty good sources! The grain bill is probably pretty darn...

100 million, I tried your grain bill and my color was 15.3 with .9 black patent. 15 gallon batch. I minus the black patent from beer smith and got 7.8. I think somehow I messed up on to much black patent. After looking over a kit at our brew store it does give a lot of clues. Most hops going in...

This may be a great grain bill but I don't think its RPM. I tried it this weekend, way to dark.

They do have kits out but there not much help. The grain is all bagged up and the hop are listed as 1 2 3 and 4. So you know when to put them in but you don't know what's in each bag. :confused:

quick question, when using fresh garden hops that aren't dried do you need to use more than normal to get what your after? thanks

Does anybody make, sell 1 or 2 barrel mash tuns with doors? The smallest ones with doors I've found are 4 barrel. 25 or 50 gallon mash tuns are pretty heavy and would be hard to clean.

Just watched the video. Very interesting. He does say he uses 6 different hops in RPM. But I don't think he means all 6 in the same batch. Sounds to me he does a lot of mix and match. A lot of these hops you could substitute. That's just what I took out of it. Of course I could be wrong. But...

Guys, I know there are a lot of different commercials brewery's that brew single hops beers. It needs to be the same grain bill so a guy can tell the difference. I've tried several different single hop recipe's. Centennial, cascade, Citra, Amarillo. It was all fun and the beers were OK, but IMO...

Does anybody make a single hop commercial beer? It would be nice so a guy could distinguished the flavors and aroma's of the different kinds of hops. You could buy a dozen beers same malts but with different hops.

Also I think I may need a longer line as some of you mention. The first pour is the worst. Second and third pours in a row it does get better.

Thanks guys, The beer is in a keg with a tower. probably 3 feet of line. I had beer to drink in about a week, I guess I'll go back to the old way. I think it was a little better anyway. That's 2 to 3 weeks at 10psi.

Carapils is for head right? I quit using it because I was getting to much head. I keg all my beer. To carb I start about 20psi for 3 days than go down to 10 psi till carbed. After fully carbed, which is about a week or so I turn down to 3 or 4 psi. Still way to much head. This is pretty much...

doesn't create good vortex, I'm guessing the bar isn't big enough. the bar is spinning, but vortex is slow.

I just bought a Hanna stir plate and a 2000ml flask and a 1'' stir bar. It spins but really slow. Should I get a 1 1/2 or 2'' stir bar? thanks

Actually its a blow off not an air lock, still its starsan. makes sence to pull off line.
