Need some help: Off flavors and a string of bad batches

So you've fermented in different vessels? What about yeast strains or dry vs. active? Temperature while fermenting? Is your brew pot REALLY clean?

    More bottles

I am a fan of Sam Adams, but now that I've got ~200 bottles, I'm starting to want to get rid of all of my bottles that aren't completely plain amber. Sam Adams have the Samuel Adams in cursive right below the neck, and it just doesn't look as nice when it's my own beer  My new...

    abv test

What revvy was asking is where did you get the 4%ish ABV if you didn't take an OG of FG. I am also confused, because if you know what your ABV is now, why would you need to know how to calculate it?

    Moving Wort Pre-pitching?

Thanks for the answers! Can I assume the same then for moving it post fermentation? That is, keep it clean and sanitary and just be careful and all will be well?

    Moving Wort Pre-pitching?

I attempted to do a search for this, but all I could find were topics on transferring wort from a boil kettle to a fermenter. What I am wondering is, can I brew in one place, transfer from kettle to carboy, cap the carboy with an undrilled stopper, and then move it ~20 miles? The reason I ask...
