That's what I did works a treat!!

After running this method for a month or so I've gone to a stc1000. I was having issues with carb levels and keg temp would swing from -2c to 8c. I wired it as a direct replacement for the old one and is working like a charm. Good luck to all those trying this way. Cheers

Yea that's going to be the best idea I think. Just a thort could I use a picture frame and paint the glass chalkboard or would I be best to paint the wood backing Cheers Aaron

Yea it dose get condensate on the front panel but Being an out side bar it's exposed to alot anyway I put 15 cotes of Polly on all wood so fingers crossed Cheers Aaron

I used a 7/8 spade bit and had to slightly screw the shanks in and did 4 1/4" spacings I wouldn't go any closer I've got a 7 tapper
