    carbonation problem in bottles

    I brewed a chocolate coffee stout, and bottled it three weeks ago. I had one bottle in my fridge for about a week and a half. When I tried that bottle, the flavor was there, but no carbonation.     just bottled chocolate coffee stout!

    Chyea! Just bottled my chocolate coffee stout. Brewed, fermented, then racked onto milk chocolate nips, then racked onto 12oz of coffee beans. Taste pretty good flat....so let's wait and see what it taste like in a few weeks.! Pretty Stoked about this one.

    hazy siphon tube! : /

    So, I've noticed over the past few brews, that my siphon tubing seems to be get a little hazy, with, what I think are water spots. What's the deal? How can I avoid this? Or is it really even a problem.

    hydrometer question

    I think I heard a friend tell me about a hydrometer that can stay in your fermmenter while it's fermenting. Is this true or did I dream it? If it is true, anyone have good/bad opinions/advice in them? Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.!
