    Fermenter size

So i am starting to scale up production and i was wondering if you think there would be an issue with me using a 30 gallon conical fermenter for 16 gallon batches? i just wonder if there is too much head space left over? my thought is it is ok but looking for advice. :mug: Thanks!

    Brewzor and fermentables

Thanks. The yield % of each ingredient must mean the potential you can get from the grain and the efficiency must relate to the mash efficiency. Good now i can move forward with my lemon wit!!!:ban:

    Brewzor and fermentables

So i am using brewzor and when i add a fermentable i see a yield %. for example my yield % for 2 row is 79% on the add fermentable screen. some like bel. wheat malt is like 80's... which i know i get a 70% eff most times. now when i back out to the edit recipe screen i see i have it set there...

    milling grains

consider the cost of a mill... you will brew 150+ batches by paying the company to mill it for you... or you can buy a mill and DIY... seems reasonable to me. if you really dont like it there are a lot of places that you can look into.
