    REALLY concerned

I want you to drink 3 homebrews a day and call me in two weeks if symptoms persist. Side effects may include a drop in anxiety over young beers and extreme relaxation in the face of possibly failed brews. You gotta just relax and wait. I bet even if the color is light, that it will be a...

    Wiring help..

I'm not trying to be a flame thrower, but giving that advice to someone who has no experience at all with electricity is negligent and wrong. The proper answer if wanting to go all electric is to go straight 240 for control and element power and add a separate plug to derive 120 from another...

    Ferm Temp Confusion

I take a mason jar full of water, tape the sensor to the side of it with electrical tape, and then cut up a couple of soft can coozies and insulate it with those. I've checked the water inside with a calibrated thermometer and it's dead on. Keeps the temp swings to a minimum. It does wreak...

    Ferm Temp Confusion

A fan is really helpful in getting rid of temp variations. Add a fan, I bet all of the thermometers get a lot closer together.

Good way to file edge of keggle opening

Flap wheel on a grinder was perfect. Dulls the edge really well and is almost impossible to mess up by taking off too much material.

    8 days...flat beer...helppppp

I'd give it at least two weeks at proper temp and pressure to achieve desired co2 volumes before testing. Just gotta be patient

    8 days...flat beer...helppppp

What temperature is the beer? Makes a huge difference in the amount of co2 that can be dissolved.

    Beer gun issues

Cap one, give it a little agitation and hold it in a bucket full of water. You will see bubbles if it is leaking from the cap.

    How Do You Aerate?

Can't wait to see the results from that. Should shed a little light in a dimly lit debate. Less opinion and more science. I love it.

    Please check my crush?

Efficiency can be effected by a lot of different factors. Crush definitely being one. Your crush looks pretty good, but we would need to know a lot more about your brewing processes to really help with your efficiency. Sparge method and temps can effect a lot as well. Also freshness of grain...

    How Do You Aerate?

I bought the oxygenation 2.0 kit from northern brewer for 50 bucks and a tank of oxygen from Home Depot for ten. Add shipping and I'm oxygenating for 70 bucks. To me it's a no brainer. The benefit far outweighs the price. Yeast is the most important part of what we do. Treat em right.

    Beer tap ?

I got 6 of the 630ss taps for Christmas. They are awesome. I hated that I couldn't have my friends go draw the first pint for fear that they would break something. Now they move freely even after sitting for a week.
