    bottling soda

    I use glass for every batch. As was mentioned, you do want to get them into the fridge once they're carbonated, but glass bottles aren't the shrapnel-spewing landmines they're made out to be.

    Super Awesome Lemongrass Soda

    I like Dry sodas. They're really the reason I started making soda -- I wanted to make something similar to theirs but kind of got hooked on ginger ale instead. Might be time to try it again.

    yeast volume for Soda

    I make quite a bit of ginger ale, and use use only about 1/8 tsp of champagne yeast for 2 gallons of water and 3-4 cups of sugar. Bottled in 12-oz glass bottles, it carbonates well in 48 hours. I think you could cut back quite a bit.
