Moonshine (hooch) is part of American culture. There is special ceramic jugs for moonshine. Kinda the same as Apfelwein.

I went to Whole Foods in Santa Rosa CA to their tap room and there it was! Grains, kits, adjuncts and even equipment! All reasonably priced and there are open till 9pm. this will make getting ingredients so much easier.

There is a Cuban beer drink that is so good on a hot day. If I remember use 12oz of good Mexican beer or any other light lager, 12oz of ginger ale and a 1/3 cup of lime juice. Mix together and enjoy. We used to make this when we had people over for a bbq and everyone loved it.

Both you guys need to hit up Bear Republic in Healdsburg and Lagunitas in Petaluma. Do the tour at Lagunitas they hook it up on the tastings. You guys both mentioned Russian River. That is a must!
