    Hybrid IPA Recipe

    What to do with my infected beer?

    I posted this in the infection picture thread. Now I'm wondering what I should do with it. I'm supposed to be adding 16oz of Bourbon & oak cubes to it in a couple weeks. I'm thinking that I may continue as planned, but add a few campden tablets to try to stop the wild yeast. Then a week...

    Strawberry Mead

    Made this today. 1 gallon of water, 2.5lbs of honey, I'll add some strawberry extract at bottling time. Pitched Pasteur Champagne. OG: 1.088 Hopefully it'll work out well, it's been 5 hours & there's some activity. I'll post more pics as it progresses.

    Very cool fermentation video!

    I just stumbled across this, anybody seen it before? Very interesting to see what the first day or so of a healthy fermentation looks like.

    Heavy Duty (extract) Stout Recipe.....doable?

    I'd like to make a really strong stout for my next brew, this recipe look over the top? 6lbs. Dark LME (1 cup at start of boil, the rest at flameout) 3lbs. Dark DME (at flameout) 3lbs. Brown Sugar (at flameout) 1lb. Caramel 120 L (155 for 30 minutes) 1lb. Drk Crystal (155 for 30 minutes)...

    Newbie from MN

    Hey all, new guy from MN here. Brewed my first batch this Wednesday, an Imperial Stout. Can't wait to learn more (and brew more) :mug:
