I brewed the extract kit up at the end of August and just kegged before New Years. I had a few pints about a week ago and I think it is very close. I would like to do a side by side comparison, almost a blind tast test on myself if you will... I was away for a few days right after I brewed...

I'd second this as being worth the half hour drive from Farmington.

I agree with him and the stance he's taking. Everyones pallette is different so you and I may not like the others favorite beers. Just because that holds true, doesnt mean your favorite sucks and mines better....its all a matter of personal opinion.

I picked up a kit from Austin Homebrew, should be here by the end of the week.... I've used a Mr. Beer in the past, but was never extremely pleased with it, so now I'm hoping this will be a great new adventure.
