    GFCI Protection Wiring

So, the spa panel idea is interesting to me, and could work, but that generates a new question My dryer receptacle (30 amp circuit) is very close to where I want to brew. Is there a way I could wire in a manual switch to choose whether the dryer receptacle is active or the spa panel is...

actually...don't think I can wire neutral and ground together...neutral carrying load for a split off 120 circuit in the control box to run pumps. do I need a 3 phase GFCI to get to 4 wires?

    GFCI Protection Wiring

Hello All - Recently moved, and due to space constraints in my load center, I am unable to continue to use the GFCI breaker I was using at my last home. I think the best option is to use an "in-line" gfci like this: http://www.gfcistore.com/30-amp-inline-gfcis.html Here is my issue...

Anyone use hot water from boiler or indirect water heater?

I have a system like this...and it got me thinking. This thing can make like 300 gallons of hot water per hour. Boiler water runs around 180+. Maybe I can avoid heating strike and sparge water? Anyone do this today? Any cons to this? Thanks!

Ok....let's make it Saturday the 30th. Carbide, let me know what you want to make dude. I'm wide open, but would probably prefer targeting something closer to a session beer than a high-gravity beer. Just bring your fermenter and take your half home. Might also be a cool way to test/play...

My E-HERMS Build - LOTS OF PICS

the probes are fine....reading temp correctly. the 4-5 degree differential is between the HLT water temp and the mash temp. seems like a thinner mash brings that differential down. hasn't been a big deal...i just set the HLT higher. I monitor on the output of the mash tun. output of the...
