    Growler filling

I was at a local brewery tonight and people were bringing growlers in to be filled. The bartenders were just putting a hose on the end of tap and filling the growler. Is this right? It doesn't seem to be. Any thoughts?

    Plastic eBay Fermenter

Hi everyone. I saw a thread here about some plastic fermenters awhile ago but can't find it now. I have a 30L Speidel that I love. These things are very easy to clean and the spigot on the bottom is awesome. In the thread I was looking for there were some plastic fermenters on ebay with red...

    New chugger pump

Ok, thanks to BobbyM I finally got a pump for my system. My wife was really excited too. Lol. Anyway, I know it isn't self priming and that the liquid has to be present before I start it. My question is when draining do I just cut off the power while there is still fluid in the line?

    Quick disconnects

Don't know if this should go in this section, if not please let me know. I want to get quick disconnects for my all grain setup. Can I just use the ones from Home Depot or is this not a good idea? I was thinking about camlocks but I like the idea of being able to swivel the tubing. Thanks

    What's this?

Ok, I looked in the infection thread and couldn't find something that resembled this stuff on the top of my California Common I kegged today. Anyone know if it's an infection? I tasted the beer and it was great so I'm still gonna drink it. Just wanting to know for next time.

    First All Grain

Ok. So after a few extract kits I made the move to all grain. It took some time to get my equipment sourced and set up. I went with Two keggles that I converted myself with fitting from bargainfittings.com. That store is awsome by the way. super fast and the prices are great. Anyway I decided to...

    Hlt

Hey everyone. I'm still new to this got a some extract kits under my belt but I know the way to go is all grain. With that in mind I made a MT out of a 10 gallon rubbermaid jug. The question I have is do I really need a HLT? My reasoning is that if the strike water and sparge water are different...
