    Hefeweizen

If your new to homebrewing I would say get a kit to learn the basics. Thats how I started for my first 2 brews. Then I found recipes and changed them a little, then starting making my own recipes. With a kit you will get what you want and not have to worry about anything, so I recommend that...

Las Cruces, NM brewers ! ?

Yeah keeping the ferment temp down was a thought, but nothing a very big bucket, cool water, and a wet towel around the carboy cant cure ! Thats what we do around here in Portland, since most places dont have ac, and works well.

    Strawberry wheat

I would say 1lb of fruit to 1gallon of beer is what I usually do when making a fruit beer. But have never worked with strawberries yet. Looking forward to hearing from other members. Also, how do other prep the strawberries ? Blend ? Cut up ? To the secondary ?

    Blueberry Ale

I am making a blueberry wheat soon too... Using 64oz of 100% blueberry juice for 5.5 gallons, that I found at a local store, Trader Joes. Figured since its all juice, that 64 oz should give it a nice flavor, but not overboard.

Suggestion For Beer On Top Of Fruit?

How many blackberries are you planning on using? For me it would depend on how many are used and how much of the blackberrie flavor you want to come through. For 5lb or more maybe a stout/porter. Less then 5lbs a blonde would work or even a amber ale, or a malty brown ale. Also people make wheat...
