    Keggle False Bottom

The price difference between the 13" and 15" is only $20. Personally I would invest the extra $20 now. It is nice to have a false bottom that fits the entire width of the pot/keggle. I had a no-name 10" originally, and have moved up to the hinged 15" from Nor cal brewing. It is awesome, and...

Texas $40 pin lock kegs & 20lb CO2 DFW Arlington Area

Ok CA_mouse, Cost to ship two kegs UPS to your zip is a whooping 56.38, and that does not include the $13 box they need to go in. I'm assuming that is too rich for your blood, unless there is some massive shortage of soda kegs in CA that I dont know about.

For $11 you can make them ball-locks! http://www.cornykeg.com/catalog.asp?prodid=682504 Come on, you know you want to... I have done this to about 5 old pin locks already, this conversion kit has worked great for me so far.

Texas $40 pin lock kegs & 20lb CO2 DFW Arlington Area

CA_Mouse, Yes, but I would be willing to bet they will either A)charge a weird rate for the odd size of the keg, or B) Make me buy a box, which would add $??? I am just gonna by UPS today being as its such a weird item to ship and will let you and peggjam know the outcomes. njstehr, Yup...

Texas $40 pin lock kegs & 20lb CO2 DFW Arlington Area

Ahh yes, but I am in Texas right now...not VA, dunno if that effects the price though. I can go by UPS tomorrow to ask, what is your zip? and would pay-pal be an acceptable method of payment?

Texas $40 pin lock kegs & 20lb CO2 DFW Arlington Area

kike_gimenez As far as I know it is functional, like i said, the main tank pressure gauge is probably sticky. unfortunately the tank is out of co2 and cannot be refilled without hydro-testing, so i have no way of knowing. You are welcome to bring your own co2 tank with you to test, if it...

Texas $40 pin lock kegs & 20lb CO2 DFW Arlington Area

Hey guys, I have got 6 pin-lock kegs that I need to sell before I head back to the east coast. They are all in pretty good shape and hold pressure, however the seals will need to be replaced as they still have soda residue. I also have a 20lb aluminum c02 tank with dual product regulator, it...

    1/2" Stainless Steel CFC!!!

Yes, I know, I was not impressed either. I have been meaning to do a test sometime soon with just water to measure all the flowrates and therefore be able to calculate my chiller efficiency. Just have not had the time. I believe there is even a spreadsheet out there somewhere to just plug...

    1/2" Stainless Steel CFC!!!

Ha, guess I never posted results did I. Originally the CFC did not work as well as I had hoped. With my groundwater at 75 I was able to output 80deg wort with a march 803 pump that had the valve barely open, as in maybe 10-15% flow. Once I moved into a place with 60 deg tap water I could run...

    Brewing Schedule Help

Dont worry about the nay-sayers, there will always be people who say negative or discouraging things, but I think there are plenty of forum users out here who have learned more about brewing from the forums than they ever would from books or just on their own and are wanting to give back...
