    When to add Honey?

To all the nay sayers I had to back off the honey as it was overpowering, again a tried & well tested recipe that has been posted since 2007 on NB forum. https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f70/panty-dropper-honey-wheat-151570/ High grade honey, low hops, ferment cold, clean yeast and it works...

    When to add Honey?

Add it 5 min after flameout and if you want in the fermentor. High grade will indeed leave a pronounced taste-aroma. The only honey I use is Leighton’s Orange Blossom Honey.

    pale ale with honey?

I did a couple APA/IPA and added honey to the hops>(drizzed the hops before bagging) then added to the keg. A couple days later the honey was really coming thur in the beer, Mmm good stuff indeed. Leighton’s Orange Blossom Honey goes great with citrus hops.

    Omg! Way better with age!

I always tell new brewers to stash a 6pk away for long term aging if only to see how your beers change over time. But it also will show how your brewing skills are getting better with each new batch.

    Repitching on Yeast Cake (Twice)

Years ago I did the yeast 'rinsing' thing and never saw a good reason to keep doing it. But then again I brew alot:mug: I transfer and save the correct amount and repitch into the new wort, I go 3-5 batchs. BTW whats always posted as "yeast washing" is not really correct but lets not allow...

Belgian Blonde with Ardennes - **** HIT THE FAN.

1 gal of hose water? right there I would have dumped the beer, just sayin Those temps are at the high-end for that yeast, thus your going to have fusel & "hot alcohol" , skunky comes only from being light struck. The gravity is well within range for the yeast. As to why you transferred so...

    Arg! lost the recipe!

Same here, backups,backups,backups... but the version of win 7 ultimate I had was buggy with promash. I would do backups- burn recipe folder to disk only to find the recipes not there. All gone, every "backup" is missing the recipes created or modified since installing win 7 ultimate...
