Just wanted to let everybody know about a Brewfest in Rapid City South Dakota today. It's the first ever brewfest with a good many brewers from all over attending. Hopefully its a great event so maybe they'll have more of them in the future. Homebrewing is pretty popular up here, what else...

I've always been told if you turn off the CO2 and leave it hooked up that the beer will back up through the tube. I always just leave mine turned on, I'm still a rookie at kegging.

Cool. I'm brewing today hopefully. I've been crazy busy since I got back. Got back and we've had Exercises since...prepping for an ORI!? I can't believe we still have them, don't we deploy enough to prove we know how? Anyway, hopefully I'll have something done for you.

It has to be possible. I was at a Hotel in Baltimore and their kegs are approx. 30yds away in a cooler and the lines run in a insulated tube to the bar...yes I saw it with my own eyes. I'm a noob at kegging but to me that was very impressive.

Well, I made it home!!!!! We finally got out of there....21hrs 36min 54secs of traveling time and now I'm home. I came home to snow on the ground and it's 17 degrees outside right now...DAMN!!!! Hopefully I'll be able to get some sleep finally. I've been up since 0130 and I think it's time...

haha, funny! We always come here for 6 months...life at a bomber base does that! I'll probably be back here in Jan 2011....DAMN, this is starting to get old!

I'm still hanging out here, its Saturday and kinda slow...not much to do except dream about beer.

I realized that I have been missing out on the flavor of beer!!! It used to be if I bought and 18 pack, that meant sit down and drink 18 beers. Now, I really like to drink beer...it's not just for show. I enjoy the flavor and the look and smell.
