I brewed a stout a few months ago while it was still a nice temperature out and fermentation went great. My bottle filler broke and I waited a while to replace it. I've done 2 batches of Apfelwein and they both got stuck at 1.009. I've heard they are supposed to get below 1. I've tried shaking it up and warming it up to about 69 for 8 weeks.

So I apparently just had a brain fart and put 3/4 cup of corn sugar in a 3 gal batch. Am I going to have bottle bombs? These are in Grolsch swingtop bottles if that changes anything.

I'm brewing EdWort's https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f69/bee-cave-brewery-ipa-59907/ which uses centennial hops. I will have a few ounces left over since I got 1 lb from Hops Direct. Does anybody know a great non-IPA recipe using centennial?

I'm finding that I could buy 12 bottles of Grolsch for $26.97 or 12 empty swingtop bottles for $28.50. Grolsch isn't the best beer I realize. Is it worth it to get the brown bottles vs. green or should I just buy the Grolsch and get me and my friends drunk from now on?

About to do my first AG brew! Does the sparge water need to be a certain temp? I'm sure you have to heat it but does it have to be the same temp as your mash?
