    SIRIMS brew rig

Well... I haven't brewed in a long while and I'm trying to buy a house so it's time to let the brewery go. This is a steam infused recirculating Mash system it is simple and straightforward to run. A great head start getting into all-grain Brewing. I am located in Queen Creek Arizona but I...

Brewing first batch right now quick question!

the OG. reading is taken prior to fermentation and the final gravity reading is taken post fermentation. so if you take an OG. reading of 1.060= 7.5% ABV "potential" and then you take a FG. of 1.010=.9 % ABV you just subtract the OG reading by the FG reading so... 7.5 - .9 = 6.6 with extract...

    Money for a brew system

I built a fairly snazzy single tier setup that I love but I almost wish I had built a BIAB setup it would be far less work and a fair bit cheaper. No pumps one of every thing as apposed to three. I would couple this with a flash boiler and a chiller and still have money left over compaired to a...

Cake pan + skateboard wheel + bike brakes = homemade peristaltic pump??

Sweet build man !!! I was just thinking. If a kernel of grain or a hop particle got caught under the wheel it might get smashed in to the tubing causing some sanitation issues or premature wear on the tubing.

1000 ml pyrex vista flasks for trade ?

I bought a 6 pack of these for yeast culturing and would be willing to part with 4 of them. I am looking for more flasks of different volumes or glass pitrie dishes, vials, or whatever yeast culturing related. I am open to other trades as well. I can box them up and ship if necessary.
