I have 2 daughters 8 & 9 they i get them on the weekends and they always help on brew days they even ask what kind we are making next. They got very upset one time when they found out i bottled one day when they were not with me.

we used to have a store arround the corner here and I've bought a few power tools from them that all crapped out after a few uses. Their hand tools and such are decent though, but I've made it a point to never buy power tools from them unless i only intend to use it once or twice.

I had this problem at my last apt, just make sure you sanitize EVERYTHING before it touches the wort and you'll be ok
