Oh wow, I hadn't heard that! I'm sure that they'll be smart enough to keep it going as is...... Perhaps bottled C&B beer at your supermarket soon..... I'm up on the shore this morning, so going to check out Deep Creek for lunch! I'm rather excited!

Holy return of the zombie thread batman! Yes, I've heard about Deep Creek, I haven't gotten up that way yet though. I'm trying to organise a bit of a thing with some of the boys from the office to do a Saturday pub crawl sometime. A place I did check out a couple of months ago is The Brewery...

    Men who lack female supervision:

This thread is full of awesome! I love the dude in the hot tub (or spa pool as we call 'em down here). And as for the guy drinking 4 beers, can anyone on here honestly say they haven't tried this?

    Wrong song lyrics

My SWMBO managed to hear "read war and peace by accident" in Foo Fighters Monkey Wrench Lolz, she just makes them up if she can't make out the words, kinda become a joke between us now.

    You're no longer a n00b when...

I haven't read the whole thread, so it's probably already in here.... 479 - You leave a beer in primary for 4 months, it ends up with something growing on the top, but you bottle it, without even THINKING of dumping it until you've tasted it once it's conditioned.

    LCD high-def, seriously?

I fully agree, HD is awesoem for sport, but I really don't like the super-real look it gives movies. Call me old school, but I wanna see CRT's coming back!

    The Sunday Drive

When I was a teenager I'd do the Sunday drive thing. Fill up the car ('86 Celica GT) with gas, hit the road randomly heading somewhere and turn around when the tank's half empty. It was awesome!

Worst Commercial Beer You've Ever Had?

VB - Victoria Bitter, an Australian macro, it's just hideous. Also, Nambawan in Vanuatu is complete rubbish too, tastees like a really bad can-and-kilo kit beer..... probably is!

    Sam Calagione presents "Brewed"

Oh, and for beers you can get at (some) liquor stores I'd recommend Epic (all of the Epic beers are awesome), Three Boys (especially the golden ale and the oyster stout), Emerson's (I love the Bookbinder - a good sessionable ale). Renaissance also have a very good range. So yeah, there's a fair...

If you're in the Auckland area get in touch, I could show you a few pretty good spots. In Auckland I'd...
