Oxyclean leaving buildup on corny overnight, help.

Just an update for anyone that has this problem. I let it soak over night in Starsan (My hard Socal water turns my starSan cloudly immediately). And it loosened the crud enough to be able to get off with a scrub brush pretty easily. It was super hard to get my arm in there, but I did manage...

Its been soaking in cool starsan for about an hour now, and while it feels a bit softer, its still on there. @mardoo Thanks, I might have to try CLR (I think i have some). Did they mention that it wont do this with cool water? or did they mention an alternative...

Oxyclean leaving buildup on corny overnight, help.

Hello there, I used Oxyclean free with a hotwater tapwater soak over night in my Corny Kegs. These 2 Kegs I also fermented in, so there was some build up. @jmadway I cant speak for a ZYmatic owner (im still a pre order). BUT, I used to brew almost everyweek. I had a keezer with 4 corney kegs in it, and I loved brewing a different style or mod of a recipe every week. I even once brewed the same recipe twice in a row to check my consistency. I...

Leithoa, Listen to the Podcast with Annie Johnson on the Sunday Session. She brings the cast her beers made on the Picobrew, and they all agree they are very clean. Also, Annie has been testing and doing just as you said trying to test its limits. It seems as if there are some work around to...

Tstrand, Thank you so much for your post. I know there are a lot of us watching this thread for actual reviews and feedback instead of speculation (that is mostly negative). Make sure to tell us how the beer tastes!
