    Wish Corruption thread

Granted, but now you're pregnant with Satan's baby, and you're giving birth out of your urethra. I wish I had an endless supply of beef jerky.

    Orval (and other Trappist beers)

You're not the only one, buddy. Would be a great starting point for brewing Belgian styles. I had Chimay red yesterday.....tasty, but was pretty flat.

    Orval (and other Trappist beers)

I'm curious, do you know the proper serving temperature for this style of beer? Also, i'd be very thankful for any recommendations you can give me.....and thanks for the correction on the 7th Trappist beer. I have Chimay red ready to try..... I live in Utah, so beer selection is scarce in...

    Orval (and other Trappist beers)

Have you tried this trappist beer, brewed in Monk monestaries in Belgium? Try Orval.....although $5 per bottle, i'm pretty sure you will be pleasantly surprised. I find myself buying one per week (liquor store), and I suggest you give it a try. There are six authentic Trappist beers...

A recipe here on HBT (Haus Pale)

Well man, that sucks....but at least you're well off enough to be brewing beer, so something good came of it. What kind of connections does Ed Wort have to the UC?

A recipe here on HBT (Haus Pale)

https://www.homebrewtalk.com/f66/bee-cave-brewery-haus-pale-ale-31793/ I had found this simple recipe here on HBT.....and i've brewed it twice. I've had nothing but compliments on the brew. So for those of you who can never get the BMC drinkers to like the home brew, I know this one will be...

Copper vs. SS chiller - Moot

Me neither....damned panda bears won't leave me alone and always spill the wort.....

Copper vs. SS chiller - Moot

True dat.....but at the same time, food production companies use SS rather than copper for sanitary purposes. To each his own, i'm a supporter of all HB equipment....wood, copper, aluminum, or stainless! :mug:

Microbrewery set up....must be rich ;)

I'm saving up....you don't need propane to boil wort in hell....and that's where i'll be when I can finally afford this setup.

Copper vs. SS chiller - Moot

A 50' SS chiller is about $10 more than a 50' copper chiller. SS prices have dropped dramatically..... Everyone knows that copper is a better conductor, but in this use, the difference wouldn't even be noticeable. I just wanted to post the outcome so that if someone is trying to decide...

Copper vs. SS chiller - Moot

I've seen so many discussions about copper vs. stainless wort chillers, heat transfer capabilities, etc. I purchased a 50' x 3/8" SS wort chiller on ebay for $65, and I would recommend this product to anyone. A five gallon batch cooled in ten minutes. So to all of you who are unsure if SS...

    Excess Aromatic Malt

OG 1.067.....bubbled like crazy for about 48 hours, then slowed down quickly. I've not seen a bubble for a couple of days. The gravity reading is about 1.033. Is this a stuck fermentation, or is this the result of the lactose that was added, as well as other unfermentable sugars in the beer...

    Deep Water Oatmeal Stout

What are you wondering, lol? I just brewed "It smells like coffee" from the beersmith recipes....I'm thinking your recipe may be a little more mild than that one.....used like 4 pounds of aromatic malt in this one. The score was 43.5, though. You could always compare the two and come up...
