Has anyone brewed with this year's crop? Is this the grapefruit simcoe or the onion/garlic simcoe? I've noticed a huge difference between simcoe hops bought from different places / different years...

I've successfully cultured this strain of lacto from their kriek. It's amazingly tart. Really crazy stuff.

What are you all paying for cider apples this year? I'm looking to fresh-press some cider, and was quoted: $0.40/lb ground-fall you pick $1.20/lb store-quality and already picked I'm working off the assumption that I'll need 120 lbs/5 gallons.

I have four chrome/brass faucets hanging around after my perlick upgrade. Willing to do $9 ea. and I'll throw in the plastic covers for them as well. I believe they'll fit in a small flat rate USPS box, so tack on $5.20 for shipping. No handles/shanks unfortunately. Cheers!
