    Fermenting Buffalo Sweat Stout...

Thanks all! @lumpher beat me to it with the recipe...that is the base recipe from the kit. I have never had the original and mine will be a bit different but I would be interested to know what you think @Zanatrik once you do. My plan with this one based off @DBhomebrew is to let this one sit...

    Fermenting Buffalo Sweat Stout...

Hi all. I'll be doing a modified version of the Tallgrass Buffalo Sweat Stout. Been searching for information related to the fermentation of this all-grain brew as the recipe I have from the original is showing up to 6 weeks. I suppose that is fine, but in my short time brewing it seems that 2...

    Secondary Fermentation

How did that turn out? I have a Saison in the primary at the moment that calls for a secondary fermentation but contemplating leaving it in the primary for another week and then bottle conditioning. I’ve done a ton of research and seems 50-50.

    MegaPot All Grain System?

That's the question Sammy86 (or maybe it's the wrong question or not a question at all!). Are all home brewing systems similarly transferable to larger scales with some simple math (i.e., your favorite home brew recipe easily replicated at larger scale such as nano or micro) no matter if its an...

    MegaPot All Grain System?

Thanks OakIslandBrewery, I think this is where I'm at. I understand why many like the electric home brewing setup and the ease of the all in one (and maybe someday I'll be right there with them), but I think there is a lot to learn by starting with a multiple component grain system. For ease of...

    MegaPot All Grain System?

5 gallons seems to be the standard that I’m seeing for homebrewer‘s so I would assume a 10 gallon system. It’s like most things though, the more I look at the more confusing it can get so I’m open to suggestions. Ideally $500-$700 but if it’s not necessary I can put that to good use elsewhere…3...

    MegaPot All Grain System?

Can also go a bit higher for the right system. I would kick myself if there was a much better one for only a few hundred more!

    MegaPot All Grain System?

Thanks for the suggestion Bobby_M. My reasoning, right or wrong, is because I only have experience brewing on a 1.5 bbl system in a nano. Since scaling up from there is similar to the same time input as well as steps in the process, I guess I was just trying to scale down for home use with a...

    MegaPot All Grain System?

Is that because of the ease of adding all the water up front? Trying to replicate brewhouse brewing as close as possible at home set up. Thanks IslandLizard!

    MegaPot All Grain System?

Has anyone had experience with the MegaPot all grain system? Looking to purchase an all grain system on a budget and curious as to your experiences, knowledge, and expertise!

    New to the forum

Personally I am a new brewer but my partner has been brewing for a while where I’m coming from the business side. We have a great location but not much space. That said a small system would fit great in there but I worry about running out or constantly brewing…although different business models...
