Using DIGITAL controller Window AC Unit on your DIY Glycol Chiller

Ok, I figured it out. I ended up supplying 110v to compressor as well as the red wire on the fan. Now the system runs full time whenever power is supplied.

Using DIGITAL controller Window AC Unit on your DIY Glycol Chiller

Hey Mike. I’m trying to do the same with a digital AC unit. However, I’d like to have it controlled with the Inkbird ITC-308. I need some help in figuring out how to rewire the existing setup so the fan and compressor come on at the same time whenever the Inkbird decides to turn it on. Here is...

It's been a while, sorry for the the late update. The system has been working flawlessly and beautifully. I often think about what I would change if I could do it differently, but I have no complaints. Since my last post, I've pumped out around 80 gallons so far.

    Wanted: Stainless Counterflow Chiller

I've been searching for a SS counterflow chiller, but can't seem to find anything. Midwest and Northern Brewer once carried these, but now it's not even showing up on their website. I don't really want to order one through aliexpress and would rather buy from a reputable company. Suggestions...

Need Help Interpreting Ward Lab Results

My water comes from a large well (one of about ten) in the area which is utilized by the water company. I've always assumed that it was softened because it feels slippery, although they claim it isn't treated with water softeners. With that being said, shouldn't a softened water supply read...

Need Help Interpreting Ward Lab Results

Hey guys and gals! I received my water report yesterday and I'm trying to interpret the results, in particular the total hardness vs. total alkalinity. Both of these show up as CaCO3, yet the numbers are wildly different. Which one of these two should I focus on? Do the results look flawed...

Huge E-HERMS build, 3 keggles, control panel, stir plate, ferm controller, 61 pics

Ok. Just finished building my junction box, wiring up the garage for 220v, installing a GFI 30 amp breaker, and powered this thing up. Something odd happened here, which is my fault for not understanding the wiring diagram. Here are some updates to where I'm at: 1. I found a 1/2" aluminum...
