    Beer AND Soda

He's right. You can still get the corny kegs with soda in them. So that way all you need is the equipment to hook up another tap(including another regulator). Bag in a box systems are expensive and we're finding we have to keep adjusting ours at our store. The flavour boxes don't seem very...

    no carbonation?

I'm just at the same issue. My liquid hardware just showed up in the mail and I was expecting perfect carbonization at 10psi for just over a week. Poured a glass and after the head settled I had 0 carbonization... It might be time to crank it up to 30 psi for a few days.

    kegerator ideas

I never even thought of that. It would make an interesting project.

    kegerator ideas

I'm contemplating getting a solid surface counter top for mine that has beer bottle lids embedded in the top of it. I've had solid surface tops made here and they turn out really nice. I haven't asked them yet if its possible. I've got a mini fridge instead of a fullsize.

    my corny doesnt seal

These lids can be a little teadiuos as well. I try and center my lids before i hit them with pressure. They normally slide over when you clamp them down but after that you can still pull them around a bit. I just kegged last night and I set the lid at 30 psi. Then I held the bleed valve...

Mini fridge conversion to corny kegerator?

My coolant tray bent down fine. Having cold tubes would be a bad idea. Let the fridge warm up for a day or two and then bend them down. I did it with an older fridge.

    water on tap

I can't quite figure out what your trying to do. The water pressure alone should be all you need. I don't know why you want to use a keg? All a keg will do is store water. As soon as the keg is disconnected you will need to add CO2. If you don't want carbonated beer why bother with the keg...

    water on tap

The kegs will have to be sealed units when carbonating. Otherwise you will be attempting to carbonate your city water system and you run the risk of pushing water through your regulator. If you don't want it carbonated just by a flare fitting. I think its half inch flare fittings fit inside...

Another sacrifice to the bottling gods

Perfect reason to keg everything first ;)

    Commercial Kegs in mini fridges

I know some people are able to make it work but how easy is it? I have a standard mini fridge that I'm converting and my parents are going to buy my friends and I a commercial keg in exchange for the labour finishing our backyard. How tall and wide are typical commercial kegs? Do they vary...

    Hauling Corny's over the Mountains

You shouldn't have to do anything. The kegs are sealed units.

    Kenmore Minifridge Conversion

Where'd you get your whiteboard from? Did you just cut up an old one you had?
  13. Trenchant

Do I need to chill down a keg before bottling?

Yes you will need to have the keg cold otherwise the CO2 will escape from the beer.

    cold co2 tank

I left my CO2 tank out in the garage at -4 celsius a little while ago. Pressure dropped to 450psi. I was pissed thinking my brand new 20# tank just got emptied from a leak. It was just the temperature.

    Kenmore Minifridge Conversion

I got one heck of a deal on a Kenmore minifridge the other week. I got it home, plugged it in and it worked great. This weekend I removed the inner door and the freezer accessories as well as I bent the coolant tray down. Bending the coolant tray was my only concern. I didn't want to...

    Att: Canadian Keggers!

They probably have a LOT left. Pepsi is still in the middle of converting over to bibs. I would guess the number is in the 1000's. When I went to the local warehouse to pick up some stuff for my family's business they were loading full semi's with full kegs. They are pushing the conversion...

    Kegerator Build

I literally just finished replacing the door on my Kenmore minifridge. I went to home depot and got a 4x4 sheet of 1/8" hard board. They gave me the two cuts to get it down to what was supposed to be 19 3/4 x 30 5/8. Total cost was $7.50 canadian. I plan to paint it either white or maybe...

What else do you put in your corny keg?

I plan on taking a keg of "Apple Pie" to Craven this summer(Outdoor Country Festival). It should be a pretty good faceplanting time.

Ok to take a keg of the gas and store it?

You won't have an issue at all as long as the keg doesn't leak. Air getting at beer is what wrecks it. As long as you keep your kegs pressurized up to serving pressure you will be fine.

    Att: Canadian Keggers!

I'm suprised people pay any more then $30 for a used keg. It took 5 phone calls to random chinese food places before I found one that would sell me a keg. Got them for a $20 each. I noticed the princess auto ones don't have pressure in them. The ones I got still had pressure in them and...
