    Correct. LME is entered as weight not volume. I do not think it is possible to change it

    @marc1 and @DBhomebrew I can't go above 100% yield and I can enter liquids, but for reference, LME fermentables in Brewfather are around 1.036 to 38. In theory, I could say 1.15 lb sucrose (per gallon) as a fermentable and then add in the water as total water volume. I was just hoping to avoid...

    So in Brewfather in ingredients, you can enter SG or Percent Yield. However, the SG only only goes up to 1.046. I contacted Brewfather and they said to “Enter the sugar content in yield, do not use the Potential." So I'm trying to figure out how to calculate the sugar content of cider based on SG

    So I am trying to add apple cider as a fermentable in Brewfather and was told to calculate the percent yield to add it. How do I convert a known SG to percent yield. For example, the cider I get averages 1.053
