    Yeast starters overflow every single time

    Is anyone decanting after overflow? What about the yeast stuck to tge walls of the flask and rim?

    Cool yeast into warm Starter

    I put a omega hothead kevik at 72 degrees into a 85 degree starter wort and started to stir. Any issues with that going to stir 24 hours and pitch 12 hours later short on time. I will decant as much as possible. Thanks for any help

    What are you drinking now?

    I brew A Great Lakes Christmas Clone every year at this time as I finish off the fall with Grogs Autumn Ale. Nice seasonal brew for fall and winter if you like strong ales
