my expected gravity was 1.043 with 11.5 gallons in the fermentor. I ended up 1.052 with ten gallons of water. Guess I didn't squeeze my bag enough or didn't rinse with enough water. Should I add ro water strait into fermentor and if so how much will it change the gravity?

If you layer the hops in a mesh with rice hulls, just wodering if anyone has tried it.

I bring this up because the new hop missle will accept pellet hops with rice hulls in a bag. Can I do this in the hop rocket? They look identical.

Someone told me about this in my local homebrew club, glad I found it. I usually go through at least 200lbs of grain a year. This may increase now that I am doing 10 gallon batches every few weeks. This happens when your friend gets a free kegerator and wants you to make beer for him.
