Hi guys. I had to bottle 5 gal of IPA but all I had were plastic screw top 96oz apple juice jugs (makers mark from SAMS club). It has been 3 days and they are starting to swell. Do you think they will contain the pressure? Id rather not have a ruined floor. Thanks.

Does it help to ferment it in the dark? The only place I can get darkness is cold about 55-60 degrees.
