    Soapy IPA

    Hard to tell. I had a soapy beer once, but it was in the primary 6 weeks. The soapiness did diminish to barely noticeable by 8 weeks after transferring out of the primary - so not all hope is lost.

    Most sediment that ever comes out of the keg comes out the first pull if you leave it undisturbed. Some people here that go straight from primary to keg, cut their dip tubes a little shorter to avoid drawing any sediment or getting a clogged tube.

    Kegerator too cold

    I've seen refrigerators act very strange when the ambient temperature is out of the manufacturer's specified range. If the kegerator is in a room the is less than 55-60 degrees that might explain it. They are designed for being in roughly room temperature rooms.

    What's the difference between kits method and full boil?

    So it seems that doing a full boil w/ late additions with a recipe written for 2 gallon boil, it will come out more bitter than the recipe creators intended. Duly noted. In the future I will reduce the amount hops that are in there for the full boil by a small amount to compensate.

    +1 on With lots of headspace in a 6 gal secondary your beer could start to spoil if a protective layer of CO2 doesn't form above it from outgassing or continued fermentation. Get a 5 gallon vessel for secondary or just don't do secondary.
