I had never heard of Keith Stone except on Keystone bilboards, so I finally looked him up on Wikipedia. Now I know why I'd never heard of him before: He was made up by Coors to market Keystone. Does that count as a stupid comment on someone else's beer? :ban:

I accidentally threw in the 1/4 oz at 15 minutes instead of 5 (mentioned in another post), and will be sticking to that. It came out very well.

I've not had any issues since switching to Linux... But on my Windows gaming installation, I use Avast. No issues, but not much runtime.

Good catch, I forgot to list one of the ingredients (0.25 lbs Black Patent). I've updated the recipe, and I sincerely hope nobody followed it exactly and was disappointed. Sorry!

That may be true in general, but from experience, dunkelweizen + provolone is a bad combo :p

I get that plastic-y taste in a lot of mine; it seems to be related to not doing a yeast starter and not aerating enough. I've also noticed that nobody else seems to be able to taste it, but I think some of my older stuff is near-undrinkable because of it.

The whiskey held me until today, and now the standing water has drained. Floor is still wet, but no biggie. Thanks for the awesome suggestions, though... Except for the one about the high heels... :cross:

I did this one a while back, and I can remember doing a side-by-side with Sam Adams Black Lager. Although I could tell the difference side-by-side, I would not have been able to identify either on its own. The difference I did taste was really small; if I had tried to clone that, it would...
