    Suggestions for removing bottle labels

    There's always the option of just not removing them... I used to scrub the labels off of refurbished bottles I used until I started using 16oz bottles from a local brewery, Urban Chestnut, and they seem to use plastic labels that just don't come off. So...

    So this is a beer with finings that wasn't filtered during transfer to the fermenter? It's not a lager, correct?

    Can't agree with this more. Learn to make beer before you try to make a complex beer like a sour. As for fruit beers, that can be as simple as brewing a basic beer to start and doing a secondary fermentation with mashed up fruit added later.

    Hi all, I've frequently read HbT threads while brewing (usually to confirm I was worrying over nothing) for the past 5 or so years and have finally joined. I'm an extract with specialty grain brewer looking to branch out or, at the very least, improve my extract brews by making my own recipes...
