Thanks, unfortunately I cannot modify my DNS on my internet service providers supplied modem... Im guessing I will have to wait until someone far more cleaver than myself is able to resolve this issue (https://github.com/thorrak/fermentrack/issues/368). No luck with automatic, semi auto, or...

Looks like I am not the only one with this problemo... https://github.com/thorrak/fermentrack/issues/368 Yes cannot ping github from other computers or if I use a 4G mobile hotspot. Tried the manual install and came up with errors whilst trying to apt-get upgrade

I just went through and installed Brewpiremix without a hitch..... then uninstalled it and tried installing Fermentrack with same problemo Nice setup!!!

Any thoughts? I can ping google.com and the likes but no luck when I try to ping github? My google-ing isnt turning up anything. Anyone else experienced this sort of problem? Cheers Thor

All up and running, well currently in a test phase to see how cold my fridge will go without hacking the built in thermostat. A big thank you for your advice and help! :mug:

Temp probes arrived today.. super excited to connect them up and see the magic... and boom... nothing.. no devices detected... awww man... every bloody step of the process. Dont know how many times I have re-checked my wiring.

Hi Bigdaddyale all of them helped me but in the end it was day_trippr regarding the flashing of arduino with the hex file by directly connecting to PC. cheers to all. :mug:

Thank you to all who have helped me. Finally got Brewpi up and running. Waiting on my sensors to arrive so that will be the next hurdle but in the mean time I think I will work on a housing and finish off the extension to the bar fridge to fit in my fermenter. Seriously cant wait to be brewing...

So.... makes sense to me but when i try run ls /dev/ttyU* i dont get any values. Just says USB0
