    GF Northeast, Juicy, Hazy IPA

Thanks for sharing and responding. I am self diagnosed gluten intolerant/sensitive. Need to get tested to find out what is really going on. So cool and lucky that you were around for the inception of such great beer and an new awesome beer style at that pub. Oh man, I would have loved to...

    GF Northeast, Juicy, Hazy IPA

Trying to figure out where the haziness comes from? How/from what is the haziness produced? The oats, the yeast? Do you have any idea?

Saw this too: http://www.themadfermentationist.com/2015/06/hop-juice-north-east-ipa-recipe.html?m=1 Looks like a London or British ale yeast maybe helps with the hazy/juiciness

    GF Northeast, Juicy, Hazy IPA

I am totally obsessed with NE juicy IPA's! Don't want to drink anything else honestly. Please keep me posted on the recipe you come up with. I have been trying to wrap my head around how to do a GF juicy IPA. I assume oats would be part of it and as you mentioned lots of dry hopping. Are...

    Canadian Gluten Free Homebrewers

Yep! I have been emailing with their sales and marketing coordinator and she confirmed they are launching in BC in 2017. Hopefully in the next few months and before summer. Great news eh! Can't wait!

    Canadian Gluten Free Homebrewers

I will have to try the Brewers Best kit, I was considering trying it and the OBK gluten free kits. I have been getting the Groundbreaker IPA No 5 and love it, but unfortunately haven't tried Ghostfish yet. They are going to start distributing in BC this year, hopefully by summer! Next time you...

    Canadian Gluten Free Homebrewers

Wow, awesome! If you start a Gluten Free brewery in the lower mainland I totally want in! I suggest starting it in the Fraser Valley somewhere, like Chilliwack! :) I really want to start a gluten free brewery as well, just don't have the finances to do it. BC/Canada really needs another Gluten...

    Canadian Supplies

I have been getting my hops from Chilliwack Hop Farms lately. They grow some exceptional hops. Great selection! Great company! They are helping to revive the long history of hops growing in the Fraser Valley. They also just started making a brilliant Spruce Tip/hops pellet blend. Genius i...

Feeling lousy after drinking gf homebrew

    Did you use any Maltodextrin?

    First GF home brew!

I would do a few things differently, and will try them with a new batch coming up any day now. I am going to do a batch with some awesome new Spruce tip and hop pellets I got from my awesome local hops grower Chilliwack Hops. Mostly or entirely rookie mistakes. I didn't use enough water so I...

    First GF home brew!

@kpeters45 I did modify the recipe a bit, since it is for 5 gallons and I only have the capacity/set up to do 1 or 2 gallons at a time. I will list the changes I made but know that I am just a beginner and by no means an expert, I was just experimenting and winging it. For a 1 gallon recipe...

    Canadian Gluten Free Homebrewers

Excited to hear from a fellow BC/lower mainland GF home brewer! Great idea, I had the same idea, just wondering if the market in Canada is too small to support a worthwhile/profitable business.

    Canadian Gluten Free Homebrewers

Thanks for responding Jenn. Always good to here about other Canadians interested in Gluten Free Beer. Especially a fellow British Columbian from Chilliwack! What are you planning on brewing?

    First GF home brew!

It's a great recipe by a great GF brewery. Was very tasty. If you brew all grain and try a GF brew I would recommend Millet, buckwheat and rice. Way better than Sorghum in my opinion. Sorghum tends to have a weird tang and can be cidery.
