    I picked up a Youngs wine kit, a 7 day 30 bottle merlot. Was among a box of bits a got from a boot sale, i only wanted the demijohns but was all bundled together lol It's 3 years out of date, but figured there was nothing to loose giving it a go. Left the yeast pack out and used Lalvin RC212...

    Because i'm using a different yeast in each carboy, they all have a slightly different temp range. The Safcider is good down to 10*C, whereas the VR21 says don't go below 22*C. They just gonna have to get what they are given, if any show signs of problems i'll have to find a way to deal with it...

    Ahh yes, that's right. Think i read somewhere it can help with flavour too? I can also use 2 part wine finings to clear the cider after it's finished fermenting?
