    Confessions...My beer doesnt taste good

I'll chime in with what others have said, the single biggest leap forward in the quality of my homebrew was fermentation temperature control. My next step is to set it up so I push from the fermentor to the keg using co2 to cut out any exposure to air. Edit: I'd be remiss if I didnt mention...

    Grainfather!!

Okay time for some Grainfather beer porn: Grainfather in action with my initial brew, SS Brewbucket with FTSs doing its thing. And about an hour ago the first pour! @OldSock recipe: Softer & Jucier APA which turned out unreal. Best homebrew I've ever made...hands down.

Question for SS Brew Bucket users

I think you're 100% correct that 304 is used commercially due to the caustic cleaners they use more so than anything. And also correct that most home-brewers, the vast majority I would suspect, use something like pbw or oxy. That said I, personally, don't have a preference in stainless since...

Question for SS Brew Bucket users

This is probably a more informative link comparing 201 vs 304 http://www.stainlesssteelblog.com/2012/11/304-vs-201-stainless-steel.html I believe commercial brewery equipment is generally manufactured with 304

Anyone ever use Fast Pitch canned wort for starters?

I'm all for trying new things & methods but I just don't think that adding dme & tap water into my erlenmeyer needs to be changed. I mean its not that hard or time consuming

Looking for the EPICS. Tree House, Toppling Goliath

As much as I love fresh IPA's I've always been more of a porter/stout man myself. I drink them all year round ..season be damned!

Looking for the EPICS. Tree House, Toppling Goliath

Haven't had the pleasure of drinking any Trillium to date although everything I read suggests that they're making fantastic beer. I was able to get cans of the OtherHalf/Trillium collab Street Green which is very good.

Looking for the EPICS. Tree House, Toppling Goliath

The beauty of having an opinion is we are each entitled to our own. That said, my opinion of Treehouse, specifically the two you mentioned, is the polar opposite of yours. :mug: Lawson's make wonderful beer. Grimm is a gypsy brewer who have been absolutely killing it lately, again just one beer...

    Grainfather!!

I'm with you there! As much as I love my SS BrewBucket I wish I had opted for the 7g SS Chronical. BTW the FTSs fermentation temp control kicks ass.
