☕ Coffee ☕: Ingredients, Roasting, Grinding, Brewing, and Tasting

2 part question here What coffee would you recommend for a first try at a nitro cold brew? What green beans would you recommend I try roasting for the same purpose?

    Epic Keezer Build

A bit of both actually. I am thinking this tail piece may have fit through the hole in the reducer. Then what adapter was used in the back of it to connect to the beer line.

    Brewie

I would replace them. They are damaged from over heating and you already have it open. Do it once and be done

    Northwestern CT 22.3cu/ft Keezer Build

I would also be interested in how the LED setup works.

And so it begins - My Brucontrol build

Starting on the low voltage side.

That probably would have been a good idea

And so it begins - My Brucontrol build

I hate detail soldering work. I am much better with larger items. But the part I have been postponing is done.

And so it begins - My Brucontrol build

M3 did it, I used a nut and bolt with nylon washers and turned them into standoffs that I mounted to the side of the box.

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

@BrunDog are the 3 indicator LED's in your schematic all 220v? It appears they are getting fed from both hot legs. My power led is 120v so I am going to have to run a line to the neutral bus instead.

Does anyone know what size screws fit though the mounting holes on the relay boards?

And so it begins - My Brucontrol build

Taking advantage of the late night hours while everyone is sleeping. It is so much easier to get work done this way. So it looks like the high voltage side is almost done. As soon as I figure out what "safe" spot I put my thermal paste I can wire up the SSR's I have to mount the relays for the...

So I will repeat what others before me have said. 6ga wire in enclosed spaces = no fun!

And so it begins - My Brucontrol build

Correct I will be using thermal paste under the SSR's I was referring to the attachment to the enclosure to help with sealing against liquid entering the box in the event of an issue. Here is the backplate http://a.co/d/jdh2onU @swimIan

BruControl: Brewery control & automation software

Perfect thank you guys! I am not sure why I was having such a hard time with that one. I bought the DIN mounted one since it will allow me to shorten up the 6g runs.

Do you have a link for the 50 amp contactor you used? the ones I am finding are about $90 and I figure there is probably something less expensive out there.

No worries I just thought there might have been something I was missing.
  19. shadow160

And so it begins - My Brucontrol build

Yeah that was an idea I did not think of, I did not feel like hunting through the garage (my daughter is in the process of moving out so it is extra messy) to find my taps so I drilled and screwed the SSR's with a couple of sheet metal screws and also just ran a couple of sheet metal screws to...
