So, As of now, I have my 5 lb. Co2 tank and dual regulator inside my kegerator which holds two Corny kegs. Just wondering what are the suggestions, pro's and con's, or evidenced based rational of whether the tank should be inside or outside the kegerator. Reason I ask this is, the pressure gauge...

    BIAB Brewing (with pics)

Yeah doug, it really is versatile. Easy to let your mash drain and move those heavy carboys around. You can get them in electric battery or manual pump versions. Both would work well.

    BIAB Brewing (with pics)

So I finally graduated to all-grain and went straight to 10 gallon batches using the BIAB method. Seven who started this post had to be my biggest inspiration. Being I'm an old fart, I had to rig up someway to do this without wrecking my already suspect back. I found a used patient lift off...

Thanks to Jack and all contributors. I know this is an aged post but it is giving me some great idea's. I was given an old Frigidaire chest freezer (lid size ~ 22 x 35), and my Inkbird controller should be here soon. I have self-graduated from doing Mr Beer, extract, partial extract, all grain...

Bypass Chest Freezer Thermostat or Not?

Hi Guys, So, my plan is to do the chest freezer fermentation chamber build (to hold 2 carboys) in my garage where seasonal temperatures will fluctuate substantially here in North Carolina. In that respect, I will need heating and cooling capacity. I have researched Homebrew Talk quite a...

    First all-grain BIAB

I kindda have to question all this water stuff as a homebrewer. I like going on the premise that if your water taste good, use it. To me, no matter the recipe, it you got good country water, your making the beer your own. Just my two cents, no offense meant. Course, as I get into this more...
