    Old hops ?

I have some falconer flight, norther brewer, unopened refrigerated. Couple years old. Think they will work for anything ? On another note. I picked up cryo hops. Cascade at over 12%alpha. whats best way to use these “new to me” style hops?

    Zappa Hops

Curious how it turned out. I bought some Zappa pellets without knowing what I was gonna do with them. Glad I read this. At 3.4 alpha I was thinking using it in a cream of 3 crops. What a shock that might have been. Could using it instead of mosaic with the golden promise I have ?

    Hello again. Fermenter ?

Yes I keg. only bottled when I made ciders or a xocoveza clone. For a conical I guess first I need to make sure I can fit it in my ferment fridge.

What's the beer you keep brewing over and over again?

Yoopers house pale ale with different hops each time to try out the hops. Figure using same malt bill again will let me get hop differences. Have been getting the Two Tracks malt from ritebrew. Two Tracks is a craft malter in N.D.

    Stone Xocoveza Mocha Stout

Just sampled this recipe after 3 weeks in bottle. Very little head but carb'd as far as mouthfeel goes. Awesome recipe phyllo! pepper bite great. Thought the cinnamon was too strong on hydro sample at bottling but perfect now. Got a 6 stuck away in basement to see after months how it is. :rockin:

    Grainfather!!

No vacuum seal seasoned steaks. Pour couple gallons of water in the gf . Set the temp where you want it. Put the steaks in, attach recirq arm, turn on pump. Just use basket with the top plate installed on bottom so you dont have the overflow arm in the middle.

    Grainfather!!

I am getting close to a year in with the grainfather. It gets used weekly. If not brewing, does a great job sous vide steaks/chops etc. Not sure how easy these others are to multitask with but the gf is very easy to sous vide. Killer beer with a killer porterhouse !!!
