    Sour Help!

So it smells sour. I don't really know how else to put it. The recipe calls for another boil after letting the wort sit at room temp for 3 days.

    Sour Help!

I have been brewing for 10+ years and this is my first sour. I tried to follow the recipe as best as I can. It's the Cañor sour from American Homebrewers Association. It calls for 8 oz of unmilled 2 row for a natural sour I guess. Anyhow, I think I took the term "kettle sour" to literal. I did...

    Replacement Yeast for Sour

    Is my hydrometer broken?

Nothing has changed in the last 5 years with my brews. I completely empty my running into my kettles then take my readings from there. I did a different brew In new electric system and same exact thing. Pre and post are the same.

    Is my hydrometer broken?

Hello everyone, I have had my hydrometer for about 4 years. It worked wonders for me but lately its been super strange. For the last three brews, I have gotten the exact same Post Boil Gravity as my Pre Boil Gravity, after allowing the reading to cool off to around 70. I boil-off around 1...

    Need Help Jumping Into This

Personally, I don't feel the need to have to go to 250v for 5 gallon batches. I love the concept of the spike solo but I think they are moving out of the normal Homebrewers budget. Yes, I get it, some people want to afford this. Unfortunately, that's just not me. Clawhammer supply has amazing...
