    First time I've done this Nut Brown Ale extract 5 gallons. The only thing that concerns me is the krausen started out dark brown and has been slowly changing to a white/clear.     Cracked fermenter cap

    I just bottled a 1 gallon batch of pumpkin ale from NB. When I was taking the cap with airlock off, I noticed the plastic lid had a small crack. I had great fermentation, it went all over the floor. Do you think the beer is ruined since it was exposed to air the whole time? I bottled it any way...
