    Update, this keg is now empty. Thanks to a couple of Xmas parties I was able to finish this keg of beer really quick. The sourness really never took over, I think I could taste something off but not 100%. Thanks all

    kegged the beer, add the potassium metabisulfite to most of the beer but kept about 1 gallon in a small glass carboy with airlock to sit and age just to see what happens! Thanks again

    Thanks for those quick replies. I'll add that potassium metasulfite to the keg. I have 10 g so I'll be taking off 1 g and I'll hide it in a corner and try it in a few months to see how it tastes.

    Brewed a very basic extract cascade pale ale. Fermented with US05 inside a 15 gal SS keg (my usuall FV). Was brewed begging of nov. And the picture was taken Nov. 28. Gravity was at 1011 which is to be expected. The taste was very plain with no sour notes. Because of the taste I ended...

    I guess part of what I wonder is, if the beer will cool if I am serving beer that is 80-90 in the keg. I'd have to really up the pressure on the beer in the kegs and hope the cold plate will restrict it enough to not shoot out of the tap to fast.

    I want to build a jockey box. Having trouble deciding between coils and cold plates. Used for trips to the cottage, summer and winter. The kegs won’t be cooled in the summer and they will be held outdoors. In the winter they will be indoors. Not sure if I should do cold plate or coils. I...
