Clarity-Ferm, Gluten Testing, and Gluten Sensitivity

Quit your bull****. Acupuncture has been completely and utterly debunked. There is only one way it can and does work, and that is to relieve local pain because it is penetrating the skin. The reason for this is that whenever the skin or other body parts are harmed the body produces it's on...

Clarity-Ferm, Gluten Testing, and Gluten Sensitivity

I started brewing with brewers clarex (what calrity ferm is made from) after reading those articles. I have Celiac and I've been drinking beer made from regular barley pretty much every weekend for over a year. I've treated the beer with a double dosage of brewers clarex. I also did a a new...

Clarity-Ferm, Gluten Testing, and Gluten Sensitivity

An update on my situation. I've been looking into this for a while now, and have had a long talk with my doctor. In addition I just brewed a Porter from barley using Brewers Clarex and had the beer testet, and the test found no traces of gluten. (The lowest threshold of the test is 2ppm)...

    Deglutenizing my brew, any tips?

http://beerandwinejournal.com/tag/clarity-ferm/ If you can't use Brewers clarex then it sucks to be you. Both the US and the EU will label beer treated with it as gluten free. But that doesn't really matter, the reason for me posting in this particular forum was to get the attention of other...

    Deglutenizing my brew, any tips?

So, I've been brewing gluten free grains for a year. And now I've tried deglutenized beer with success. So I'm ditching sorghum for clarity ferm. Does anyone have any tips on optimizing the process? Longer in the fermenter? 2 row vs 6 row (since 2 row has less proteins)? Pitching rate of...

    European gluten free malt suppliers

I'm in Norway and I can get my hands on buckwheat malt, but that's about it. And I don't really have the time or room to malt my own grains. :/

Clarity-Ferm, Gluten Testing, and Gluten Sensitivity

What I don't get is how I can know that these "gluten free" levels are safe for _me_. Even with no symptoms damage can be done. It just seems like way to high a risk. But that's me.

    European gluten free malt suppliers

Hi, I've been searching the interwebs for about 6 months now, trying to find anyone in europe that will sell me gluten free malt. (grains, not syrup) So far the only one I've found is the Buckwheat malt from Castle Malting, that has no diastatic power. I've talked to the Colorado Malting...

First step up to partial mash, input wanted

Thanks Legume. I'm actually brewing this as we speak. And I did go for the BiAB approach. I had a lot of problems getting the bag drained though. I guess I could have added more rice hulls. Any pointers on that? I just added the bittering hops and my kitchen smells awesome. Can't wait to...

First step up to partial mash, input wanted

Hi, I've brewed quite a few batches of extract beer now and I want take it one step further. The problem is that here in Norway it is impossible to get malted gluten free grains with diastatic power. I've tried malting, and I don't have the room for it:/. And I haven't found anyone that's...
