I bet my real ale bottles still fermented from 1.011 to 1.008 (around) and had 30g more sugar than needed and it took only 2-3 days to get...

    Beer still fermenting in bottles?

Well i never calculated predicted FG, should be around 1, 010 i guess if og was 1.045-1.050 and saf 04 used how low it can still go in bottles? Was aiming for 2.5 vols and dont have digital scale atm. It was +-175g of dextrose what i put in, i think my calculation was totally wrong but it said...

    Coopers Czech Pils Recipe

Did it by your version uniondr and went well, i did let rehydrated yeast to cooldown 40mins to 19C and added then it to 16C wort so should be good enough. My ambient is at 53F and beer temp is at 57F and air lock is bubbling nicely, it say on package that ideal temp is 10-15C for W-34/70 so...

Did put it in bathtub.. dont have ice at the moment but water is 14C so it will go quicker. What temp (wort) should i pitch my rehydrated yeast in? Mix of 2 yeasts w-34/70 11.5g and 7g coopers lager yeast

    Coopers Czech Pils Recipe

Ok. Last time i had rehydrated yeast with cap on for about 9h before pitching.. that was way too long then i guess. Now my wort is at 30C / 85F after fridge cold water, guess that i need to cool it AGAIN.. seems like when im boiling with 1.5-2.5gals its just too much and cant get it even near...

    Coopers Czech Pils Recipe

I can get only ambient to 53F / 11.5C but not lower, i also have 3.5g less W-34/70 as recommended so maybe its a good thing. Can i already get strong esters at 55f beer temperature for W-34/70?

    Coopers Czech Pils Recipe

Yeah will be doing that today, 25g at 15min + 12.5g dry hopping 7 days. I will rehydrate my 6g of coopers lager yeast + w-34/70 11.5g for hour or 2. Can i pitch it in 68f/20c wort like ale yeast or it needs to be more near fermentation temperature? Going to let it drop then in 24h with 12-13C...

    Coopers Czech Pils Recipe

I bought finishing hop bags of saaz (pellets) which are size of 12.5g each and look like tea bags. Should i just add 2x12.5g bags in boil at 5min and let it ferment with it? Or remove bag after boil? Atleast dry hopping with these will be easy :)

    Coopers Czech Pils Recipe

Yeah instructions say that kit is pre hopped and shouldnt be boiled.. so i will just add it at flameout. I will be dryhopping 12.5g saaz pellets week before *lagering* for sure. Just dont know about boiling schedule for pilsner.. i have in stock 12.5g saaz pellets for dryhopping and 25g for...

Thx for fast answer! I only added hops once before and didnt even think of adding them that early (60mins) If i add +60mins 12.5g saaz pellets.. should i add dme+sugar same time or later in boil? Recipe at coopers site only suggests this hop addition: Add the Saaz hop pellets to 500ml of...

    Coopers Real Ale estimated OG?

Im using safale-04 instead of kits yeast it started really nicely at first i thought its done after 2 weeks before taking sample, beer temp was first at 63 but now is around 61 after primary fermentation ended. 1.012-1.010 would be really nice finish FG if my og is around 1.045-1.050 as you...
