    Yesterday 4/20/14 I decided to brew a 2.5 gl batch of an English porter I had so around 3 pm I took out the Liquid yeast from the fridge and popped the pouch activating the yeast sooooo 8 oclock clame around I got lazy and didn't brew so the pouch stayed on the counter all night to now 5pm next...

    yes the bottle cap is an aluminum twist off cap, and yes I had the same worries about it not sealing properly so thanks for your time to drop a line I might use it just for testing sakes and if it doesn't work I just lost a quart....saddens my heart to say that lol....cheers

    Yes you do believe me my first batch was drinkable and did the job but I made some mistakes and learned from them, but I can assure you that the guy who first said "practice makes perfect" was probably a home brewer lol

    Just FYI don't be disappointed if your first batch isn't as great as you thought it would, you learn from your mistakes and get better as it goes im not a master brewer but im headed to my 5th batch and I can definitely see a difference not just in the beer but in my confidence which is awesome...

    Can I bottle directly from the Primary Fermenter to bottles if I am using carbonation drops(candy looking sugar rocks) or should I buy a bottling bucket so I can make a mixture of sugar water to add to my batch and then Bottle?..... Thanks.
