Will this cheap 3500 watt induction burner work?

I consider myself an average DIYer and my plan has been to slowly build up my system to the point of using an induction element. My system is setup somewhat similar to the BrewEasy, except right now I heat my water with my gas stove and maintain my temps using a pos salton heating element. I...

    Best Stainless Conical???

I emailed Spike earlier in the week and this was the reply. "The 14g is in production and should be available come April the 7g should be available a couple months after that." I am looking for a conical and would pay for quality, but can I wait until June?

Show Me Your Wood Brew Sculpture/Rig

Consistently leaking keg setup... out of ideas.

Teflon tape (gas) on all threaded connections? Keg lube on o-rings? When I had a leak it was on the manifold (my fault).

Is Secondary Fermentation Still Common Practice?

Since I started fermenting in my boil kettle(s), I moved to using a secondary to help clear the beer, plus the kettles don't fit in the fridge for cold crashing. My first batch after going from kettle/fermenter directly to keg was a disaster as there was way to much trub/sediment/grains that...

Is beer a common drink or a special drink for you?

Common... very common. That's why I am brewing a lot of milds and other low abv beers lately. I really enjoy drinking beer, but I don't to be blasted.

Seriously the easiest DIY ever for bottling bucket dip tube

I know most here use it in a bottling bucket, but I was thinking of using this in a secondary. Would it being submerged for days be a problem?
