    Thanks for the link Weezy.. When it warms up a bit more I will get away from the kit brews and get back to the full boils, and hopefully step up to Ag this year.. But it would almost seem like a waste of time to brew <2% beers. I am hoping to find someone who has tried this with a canned kit...

    A little pretext; With the sun starting to shine again and snow starting to melt, I am hopeful that summer will eventually return to Canada. There is nothing I love more then being outside in the nice weather. Be it gardening, landscaping, woodworking, fishing, or just sitting back drinking...

    Most annoying response when you tell someone you're a homebrewer?

    I understand people being anxious to taste a new batch, thinking it just instantaneously ferments.. I Usually end up tasting one or two that are flat and sweet.. but i can wait more then 4 hours lol

    but when i was mixing the extract he told me he used brew wine in england.. "it will take a couple days to ferment" ok thanks for the info..

    Orange peels in wort

    I've added orange peels with 10 mins to boil.. and they were bitter.. Racking onto orange peel for a few days seems like a better solution.

    (Roomate) Is that beer you put on going to be ready soon?... ~4 hours after pitching on a pale, and dark ale..
