New BIAB setup. Ss brewtech or Spike? Utah Diesel or Arbor Fab?

Yes, or at least according to the can. It tastes more like a hybrid wheat/cream ale to me though. Maybe more cream ale.

New BIAB setup. Ss brewtech or Spike? Utah Diesel or Arbor Fab?

FWIW, Spike dropped some details on their BIAB setups yesterday. The batch sizes make zero sense, but I am very intrigued.

Anyone add Oat Milk to Beersmith 2?

Yeah I changed it to oz. That helps. It changes everything else though. But, you can change it to oz, input your amount, then change it back and it's convert it to the new measurement. I think I got confused based off of someones recipe online that used oat milk and some how used 96oz and only...

Anyone add Oat Milk to Beersmith 2?

How did you end up inputting this into BeerSmith? I'm a little confused.

    Grade B Maple Syrup

Trying to revive a dead thread here. Did this work out for you? Looking to do the same thing. Really want that maple flavor to come through.

You wouldn't happen to know how tall the blow off cane is from the outer cap (inner facing when connected) to the top of the cane would you?

Hi! I have the 308 and I was wondering the correct method to calibrate the temp probe. I have had it for about a year and just want to make sure everything is still spot on. Thank!

    Spike V3 Kettle BeerSmith Profile

Well I talked to Ben over at Spike and I showed him the Blichmann 10 gal profile and he said it was pretty much the same as that. I wish I had a more definitive answer though.

    Spike V3 Kettle BeerSmith Profile

Did no one ever figure this out? I too would love to know the profiles for their equipment. I have the Spike v3 10 gal BK, HLT and MT.

Citra hops in a Belgian Golden Ale

Has anyone ever tried this? I'm curious to use hops out of the norm for a BGA. I want to experiment a little. Have you guys experimented with any other kinds of hops in a BGA before?

Grain bill for Belgian Golden Strong Ale

Also, I wanted to get creative with the esters and mix yeast. I plan on using WLP570 and adding WLP500 to it.

Grain bill for Belgian Golden Strong Ale

Yeah I was trying to do something different with it. So you think I should ditch the special B and Caramunich? Maybe up the biscuit just a tad? As for the torrified wheat, it was just an ingredient I saw on a lot of different Golden Ale recipes.

Grain bill for Belgian Golden Strong Ale

Hey guys! Im about to brew my first Golden Strong Ale, but I am having some trouble with the grain bill. My recipe is for a 10 gallon batch. I plan on sharing with my buddies because I'm just so nice. I would really like a complex malt bill for this recipe. Here is what I have so far: 24...

    White Stout

Was this a 5 or 10 gal batch? Also, have you tried the beer yet? I have used cold pressed coffee for beers in the past, but never put the beans in the boil. Im curious as to how this tastes. Just might try it this way.

BCS 460 and Android tablet configuration

Hey Sennister, Did you order it pre-assembled? Or are you putting it together yourself? Trying to figure out what to do with mine. I have experience with building PCs, but this seems way more advanced haha. Let me know how it goes!

BCS 460 and Android tablet configuration

Hey guys, thanks for the responses. Good insight from everyone. I am definitely digging the 2 E-stops. I think that is a great idea. I think I am going to stick to a basic switch set up for now that includes 2 pump on/offs, temp probe plugs, 2 e-stops and an on/off for the whole system. I can...

BCS 460 and Android tablet configuration

So I am trying to plan out the automation side of my brew plans and I have come to the conclusion that I just want to be able to control temps, pumps, etc from a small Android tablet. I guess my questions is, what else do I need to complete this setup? I have searched other threads for Android...
